Is BOXit & move a moving company?
Our main activity is renting eco-friendly moving boxes, but we can help with man with a van if you need. if your loading is bigger, we have relationships with local moving companies that we can recommend.
What size are your boxes?
Do your boxes get cleaned between rentals?
Yes, after each rental we clean and wash every box and before a new use we desinfect them, using eco-friendly cleaning products. This was a standard from the beginning, not only because of the pandemie.
Can I buy some boxes?
Yes, no problem, we know that our boxes are very good for keeping stuff in the basement or closet and our customers frequently ask to purchase some boxes. At the end of the rental period, you just have to write us an email when you make the appointment for pick up. The price is 30€/box plus VAT.
If I can't unpack my boxes on time, can I keep them longer?
Yes, just send us an email and we will extend your rental period. Anyway, in case of keeping the boxes more than the first period, your subscription will be automaticaly renewed for an additional period.
Are moving boxes friendly to the environment?
Yes, definitely! Our boxes can be reused hundreds of times before being recycled. They are made in UE out of 100% recycled material.
I accidentally broke a box or a dolly. What happens?
This is not the end of the word. If the box is damaged or lost, a 30€ plus VAT replacement fee per box is required. The replacement cost for a dolly is 45€ plus VAT.
I'm moving to another country. Can I rent moving boxes for my move?
Yes, of course it is possible if you move to France, Belgium or Germany. Additional transport fees will be applicable based on the distance to your new home or office. Please, send us an email details for a specific quote..
For delivery and pick up, do I need to be home?
Yes, a person over the age of 18 should be available to sign the minute.
How fast can BOXit & move deliver the boxes?
In 24 hours we will deliver the boxes. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order and will call you 60 minutes before the delivery or pickup.
Can I change my delivery or pick up date?
Yes,the dates can be changed for free with up 24 hours before. Just contact us to find another time slot that works best for you. For rescheduling within 24 hours or if nobody is present at the delivery or pickup location a charge of 30€ will be applied.
Can I order more boxes if I need ?
Yes, if during you packing you realize that you need more boxes than you initilly estimated, we can provide you with extra boxes. A delivery charge can be applied.
Can I return the boxes earlier if I no longer need them?
Yes, when you finish your unpacking just schedule the pick up time to the website with 24 hours in advance. There is not a minimum time for rental.
What are the delivery and pickup costs?
Don't worry about that, it is our pleasure to offer you a FREE Delivery & Pickup.
Do you offer any refund if I return the boxes early?
We do not refund for early returns but we pick them up in advance if you need in order to let your space free of them.
Can I cancel my order?
Have you changed your moving plans? Don't worry! If you want to cancel your order, please contact us 24 hours before your scheduled delivery date for a full refund. If your order is canceled after this time, there is a charge of 50%.
Is there any charge for cleaning equipment?
If it is returned in a dirty condition, which include, but not limited to adhesive labels, pen marks, stains, spillage of fluids or food, unpleasant odors, it is applied a charge for cleaning is 5€/equipment.
